I am a big Crematory Fan. I’m still debating if i really like this cd or not. It’s definatly different then the usual Crematory. I’m just finding then alot of metal in general are using alot more electronic’s. It still has the good Crematory elements. The deep growling 8O). You know the double vocal singing. The nice piano playing. Great synths, drumming, and guitars. Has nice eerie ambience. If you are a Crematory fan i do recommend that you pick it up. It’s like they tried to put a mixture of Electronica and Metal it’s really odd. Just cuz it’s odd doesn’t mean it’s bad. "Reign of Fear" has that weird electronica feel to it. "Open your eyes" begins with piano then like it sounds like a dance beat kicks in it’s really weird. I can kinda understand it though cuz it’s like a love song. Crematory has always had a lil hint of electronica in them, but not like this. My favorite song has to be "Solitary Psycho" (I wonder why? Ha!). My least favorite song has to be "Tick Tack". I haven’t really listened to it enuff to really make a deciding factor. I feel it growing on me though.

P.S. I really hate those metal heads that try to define what is metal and what is not. Music is art. Art is an expression --Solitary Pattern

《大长今》以生动的情节讲述了男尊女卑的封建制度下，长今凭着真诚的信念和顽强的意志，克服种种困难，成长为顶级宫廷料理师和朝鲜王朝唯一的三品女御医、被御封为“大长今”的传奇故事。

Seattle-based singer-songwriter Laura Veirs calls her 2005 Nonesuch release Year of Meteors "a road record." "It doesn’t sound like one," she says, "but it is." Veirs had spent most of 2004 touring in support of the hauntingly beautiful Carbon Glacier, her breakthrough effort and Nonesuch debut. She started out in Europe, where she was greeted with overwhelming critical praise and sold-out houses. Then Veirs worked her way around the States, where she was still just being discovered (though the reviews were also often superlative). The experience was at times heady, other times grueling, and she incorporated it into her new songs. However, given Veirs’ vividly descriptive yet dream-like lyrics, you won’t learn anything about her actual itinerary. Year of Meteors is no ordinary travelogue, but it will definitely take you on a remarkable journey.

"All the songs are about transportation, motion," Veirs explains. "If you listen to the words, there’s always some movement happening, whether it’s greyhounds running down a mountainside as mud flows or a person flying off into the sun or someone lurking around the bottom of the sea. I think that’s because I was in motion so much of the year. Somehow I knew that all the traveling would come into the songs, but I wanted to remain focused on the bigger things, not just life on the road, so that’s why there are no direct references to that." There are, she hastens to add, "love songs related to that experience, like the struggles of being away from home and your partner. Or having my band and the different relationships I have formulated, many of them very close because of the intense circumstances of touring. So it’s a relationship record too."

And, finally, it’s a band record: a fertile collaboration between Veirs and her studio band, the Tortured Souls (who often play live with her)--Steve Moore (piano, organs), Karl Blau (bass, guitar, vocals), and producer Tucker Martine (drums, percussion, treatments). Viola player Eyvind Kang, another longtime associate, also sat in. As Veirs explains, "When we talked about making the album, we decided to record a lot of these songs as a band first, then do some more of the solo type of songs. It had always been the opposite before, I would go in and record the more quiet guitar parts and sing. This time, half of the record or more are tracks that we did live as a band first. Then we went in and recorded the quieter ones. We approached this from the beginning more as a band album and it really turned out that way."

Arriving on the heels of big sister/R&B star Brandy, rapper Ray J parlayed his success on television into a music career at the age of 14. Born in McComb, MS, Ray J’s family moved to Carson, CA, when he was still a toddler, landing him in the center of the entertainment industry. He started auditioning for commercials at age eight, scoring several gigs until he caught the eye of comedian Sinbad, who was casting children for his upcoming TV show. Ray J got the role playing Sinbad’s foster son until the show was canceled in 1993. From there, he began acting in movies, appearing in the films Steel and Mars Attacks! in minor roles. At the same time, he was also itching to try his hand at the music industry, inspired by Brandy’s early successes. He signed with Elektra in 1995, recording Everything You Want the following year with a set of superstar songwriters and producers behind him. In 1997, he performed in a television special with his sister, but despite the mainstream attention, he was dropped by Elektra soon after. His easygoing image and boyish looks appealed to the producers of Brandy’s television show, Moesha, scoring him a role on the popular UPN series starting in 1999. He also started producing, putting together the music for several commercials and a few of the demos for his second record. Still, when he stepped back into the studio he called on the Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins, Brycyn "Juvie" Evans, and several other hitmaking producers to help him compile This Ain’t a Game, a pop-oriented record that featured more of his singing than his debut. The album dropped in 2001, but despite a strong promotional push from new label Atlantic Records, it wasn’t the breakthrough success it seemed designed to be. It would be four years before he returned to music, but despite the lengthy absence, his high profile still commanded an all-star gust list. With help from Timbaland, R.
